Recreation Program registration information
Each participant is responsible for his/her own hospital and medical coverage. The Municipality of Meaford will provide
every safeguard for the health and welfare of each participant, but will be released from all actions, damages, claims and demands, whatsoever arising out of participation in our programs.
Email and Personal Information
All participant and/or guardian information collected by the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department will be kept confidential and will ONLY be used for program related purposes. Please be sure to provide us with a CURRENT email account where we will be able to send you any program updates (i.e. class cancellations or changes, receipts and special offers.) If you do not wish to receive anything other than direct correspondence, let us know so we can mark your account as private.
HST 13% H.S.T. is included in fees where applicable.
We know that mistakes sometimes happen, but it is necessary to administer a $45.00 charge for each returned cheque.
Classes may be combined or cancelled due to insufficient registration (full refunds will be provided for cancelled programs). Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather/unforeseen circumstances and will not be made up at a later date.
Program fees are refundable prior to the start date of the first class. Refunds will not be given on or after the start of the program, except for medical reasons. Please Note: Medical reasons require a doctor’s note. An administration fee of $10.00 is applicable for every refund.
Transfers within the same session will have a $10.00 administrative fee charged at the discretion of the administrator. Transfers are subject to availability and appropriate placements.
The Parks, Recreation & Culture Department occasionally takes photographs of our classes to promote the Municipality of Meaford’s programs. If you have any concerns regarding this, please contact us. Individuals who wish to take personal pictures of their own families are asked to be respectful of the other participants.
It is the belief of the Municipality of Meaford that municipal recreation opportunities should be available to all residents.
