Open Air Burning Ban

Meaford, Ontario – July 31, 2015 – The Meaford and District Fire Department has issued a ban on all open air fires within the Municipality of Meaford due to the hot, dry conditions in the area.

Hot, dry weather means the risk of fires is high, and caution must be taken.

This ban is effective immediately, and will remain in place until further notice.

Thank you for your cooperation. More information on open air burning can be found at http://www.meaford.ca/emergency-services/meaford-and-district-fire-department.html.

I really think there should be a garbage can at the skateboard park. It is really terrible to see all the litter in the parking lot. I truly think everyone would put their garbage in a can if there was one easily accessible. Just my opinion ! 😉
