Chief Administrative Officer: 

The CAO is the senior administrator of the Municipality and advises Municipal Council on matters of community and strategic significance and provides corporate leadership to all Municipal Departments through the effective implementation of Council’s direction and policies.

The Municipality’s administrative structure consists of seven (7) departments:

•  CAO Office
•  Legislative Services/Clerk
•  Community Services - Recreation, Arts & Culture Centre, Museum
•  Operations Services - Transportation, Environmental, Corporate Buildings
•  Corporate Services - Financial, Information Technology
•  Planning and Building Services-Economic Development & Communications
•  Fire and Safety Services

All of the various Municipal Departments report directly to the CAO who is responsible for ensuring the effective operation and delivery of services to the community.
