The Canadian Coast Guard maintains a Search and Rescue Station in Meaford at 128 Fuller St. (Meaford, ON). The site is located at what is known as the New Harbour. This location operates April-December. Their service area boundary is Southern Georgian Bay from Lions Head to Parry Sound. Counties served by the Coast Guard are Bruce, Grey and Simcoe.
