8 Sideroad Bridge Replacement
Introduction
The Municipality of Meaford is replacing the bridge on 8 Sideroad (BR-133) to ensure our roads stay safe and reliable. We’re removing the old concrete structure and installing a new prefabricated bridge to maintain service now and in the future.
Project Description
This project includes:
- Full removal of the current concrete bridge
- Installation of a new prefabricated superstructure
- All work completed by Cox Construction Limited

Impact on Residents
- Traffic Disruptions:
- 8 Sideroad is closed at the bridge throughout construction.
- Please use alternate routes for through traffic.
- Residents can still access their properties, but do not park on the roadway.
- Noise and Dust:
- Expect some noise and dust during construction.
- The contractor is working to minimize both wherever possible.
