Meaford to Host Chamber After 5 for Southern Georgian Bay Business Community

The Municipality of Meaford is inviting business owners and Chambers of Commerce from across Southern Georgian Bay to attend a Chamber After 5 networking event on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Hosted by the Municipality of Meaford for the first time, the event will bring together local and regional business leaders to connect, share ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration and economic growth. The evening will highlight Meaford’s business community, local venues and suppliers, and the municipality’s economic development initiatives.

The event supports Meaford’s priorities of growing the economy and strengthening the community, while reinforcing its role as a regional partner and convenor for business development.

Featured Guest Speaker

The event will feature Chef Mark McEwan, one of Canada’s most influential culinary leaders. Widely recognized as the “father of modern Canadian cuisine,” Chef McEwan has shaped Toronto’s dining scene through celebrated restaurants including ONE, North44, Bymark, Fabbrica, Diwan, and The Port Tavern Thornbury. He is also known as head judge on Food Network’s Top Chef and as a mentor to emerging culinary talent.
