4 Sideroad Bridge Replacement
Introduction
Bridge BR-070, located on 4 Sideroad, west of the 7th line and crossing over the East Miniehill Creek, has been identified as requiring replacement as part of routine inspections of the structure. The 2025 Ontario Structure Inspection Manual report gave the structure a bridge condition index (BCI) of 43.22, and replacement is generally recommended at a BCI of 40. The bridge also has an existing load limit of 5 tonnes.
The project includes a review of bridge alternatives, detailed engineering, demolition and replacement of the bridge.
