4:15 p.m. Update - Cook Street has now been reopened.
9:00 a.m. - Due to Valve Repair and Fire Hydrant Replacement at the corner of Nelson and Cook Street, Cook Street is closed from Nelson Street to Collingwood Street. One lane will remain open for local and emergency traffic only.

Meaford Council has awarded $194,000 in bursaries over the next 4 years to community organizations in Meaford.
The Community Bursary program provides funding to community groups who offer programs, services and events in Meaford. Funds are awarded for the four-year Council term. The annual amount of funding available for the 2019-2022 term of Council is $50,000. Organizations may receive up to $5,000 per year.

IMG_0659The Meaford yard waste depot will now have compost and mulch available for your spring planting needs.
Municipal compost has been tested and approved for sale, so as of Friday June 7 th you can purchase compost and mulch at the Meaford Yard Waste Depot at 157859 7 th Line. Hours of operation for the depot are Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
You must load the material yourself and provide your own containers/transportation.
