Barb Clumpus (2)As we wrap up another month of social distancing, frequent hand washing, and reduced unnecessary travel, the warm summer weather is so very welcome. Gardens are flourishing, and woodland trails and green spaces beckon us to enjoy the great outdoors.

bag_tags_web___GalleryBeginning on June 1 st , 2020 bag tags will once again be required on all waste bags put out for curbside pickup.
On March 30, 2020 the Municipality of Meaford announced that residents who were not able to get bag tags due to self-isolation related to COVID-19 would be able to put out one untagged bag per week.
At their meeting on Monday, May 25 Council decided it was time to reinstate regular use of bag tags as the Municipality moves towards recovery.

Barb Clumpus (2)It finally feels like Summer has arrived this week, and how welcome that is! I hope you’re able to get outside to enjoy the sunshine and warmth, the gardens and the budding trees. The trails are well used with folks riding bikes, walking dogs and strollers, and fishing! It truly lifts our spirits to see so many out – keeping their distance of course, but enjoying the day!
