Meaford Museum Exhibit at Queen’s Park 2The Meaford Museum’s new exhibit is a little further from home than usual, but well worth the trip. The Meaford Museum was chosen to be among the 8 cultural institutions to have an exhibit on display at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario Grand Hall in Toronto.

2019 Community Builders of the YearAt the annual volunteer appreciation dinner held by the Municipality of Meaford on Wednesday April 10 th , Marilyn and Richard Morris were awarded Meaford’s first annual Community Builder of the Year Award.

The Municipality of Meaford is now accepting applications for the Community Bursary Program, a 4-year funding program that replaces Community Grants.
Community groups who offer programs, services and events to the Meaford community can apply for up to $5,000 per year for the four-year term of Council. A total of $50,000 per year has been set aside for this program. This recognition and financial support allows these groups to leverage other funding and support volunteer contributions.

New Library receives $15,000 donation from the W. Garfield Weston FoundationOn Thursday, April 4, 2019, a group of library supporters met to acknowledge a significant donation to the new Meaford Public Library building – a cheque for $15,000 from the W. Garfield Weston Foundation.
