load restrictionsEffective March 1 st , 2021 all Municipality of Meaford Roads are placed under a reduced load (5 tonnes per axel) restriction that will remain in place until May 15 th , 2021.
Load restriction periods are weather-dependent. They may be extended as late as May 31st, 2021 due to changing weather patterns. The Municipality of Meaford’s Administrative office at 21 Trowbridge Street West will be reopening its doors to the public on Monday, February 22, 2021.
The office had closed for the holidays on December 24, 2020, and remained closed to the public in the new year during the Provincewide Shutdown. Staff continued to work in the office and remotely during this time to respond to inquiries and offer Municipal services.

Waste pickup for Tuesday, February 16 2021 has been delayed due to inclement weather. Garbage only will be collected for those in Area A on Wednesday, February 17th. Those in Area A and B scheduled for recycling and green bin collection today are asked to hold on to the material until your next regularly scheduled pickup day.
