Trowbridge Street BridgeDue to weather delays, this closure has now been extended to Wednesday March 25th, 2020.
Trowbridge St. Bridge will be closed on March 18th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, and 24th for the installation of bird nesting prevention devices. The bridge will be closed each morning at 7:00 a.m. and remain closed during the day, reopening each evening.  The bridge will be open all day on March 21st and 22nd (Saturday and Sunday).

Effective Sunday, March 1st 2020 all Municipality of Meaford Roads are placed under a reduced load (5 tonnes per axel) restriction that will remain in place until Friday, May 1st 2020.

UPDATE: The plows have been repaired and we are once again operating at full capacity.
After all of their hard work over the last few days, some of our plows are now experiencing mechanical issues. We are working to fix them quickly, but some areas may experience delays in snow clearing.

Map - Bayfield and LakesideDue to flooding, debris and ice buildup caused by excessive waves, the following roads have been closed, allowing local traffic only:
Lakeside Avenue from Eliza Street to Aiken Street
Aiken Street from Lakeside Avenue to Grant Avenue
Bayfield Street from Sykes Street to Collingwood Street 
For safety reasons we urge residents to exercise caution in waterfront areas.

Bayfield Oct17Please be advised that due to flooding concerns Bayfield Street from Sykes Street to Collingwood Street will be temporarily closed allowing for local traffic and emergency services only.
For safety reasons, we urge residents to please stay away from these areas until the flooding subsides and staff are able to clear the debris.
