BayfieldUpdate - Bayfield Street has now been reopened.
Due to flooding caused by excessive waves, Bayfield Street is closed from Sykes Street to Collingwood Street. 
With continuing high winds and low temperatures, please excercise caution in all shoreline areas.

Bayfield Lakeside ClosureDue to flooding and debris caused by excessive waves, the following roads have been closed, allowing local traffic only:
Bayfield Street from Sykes Street to Bridge Street
Lakeside Avenue from Eliza Street to Aiken Street
Aiken Street from Lakeside Avenue to Grant Avenue
Bayfield Street is expected to reopen early this afternoon, while Lakeside will reopen by late afternoon.
Memorial Park and Fred Raper's Park have also been affected. Please use caution...

Grey Highlands-Meaford Road Closure MapThe Municipality of Meaford together with the Municipality of Grey Highlands is undertaking bridge rehabilitation work on the Euphrasia-St. Vincent Townline.
As a result, the Euphrasia-St. Vincent Townline between Deviation Road and 11th Line, and 11th Line from 4 Sideroad and Euphrasia-St. Vincent Townline will be closed throughout the construction.
Start Date: Monday November 2, 2020
Estimated Completion: Friday November 20, 2020

speed signIn partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Municipality of Meaford is launching a pilot project asking residents to report traffic concerns, including speeding, through our website.
Once a complaint for speeding is received, staff will mount traffic counters at two locations on the targeted roadway. The traffic counters will stay in place for a week and track the number and speed of all vehicles that use that road. This data will then be collected and analyzed...

edwin street map 2Beginning Monday October 19, 2020 Edwin Street will be closed at Highway 26 (Sykes Street South) for road rehabilitation on Edwin Street from Highway 26 to Lorne Street. Vehicles will not be able to enter or leave Edwin Street from this intersection. The work is estimated to be completed by Friday, October 30.
Local residents will be able to access Edwin Street from connecting streets to the west of Highway 26, and will be able to access their driveways throughout the duration...
