CollingwoodCollingwood Street from Sykes Street to Bayfield Street will be reduced to one lane on Friday, May 10 2019 so paving work can be completed. Thompson Street from Susan Street to William Street will be reduced to one lane on Monday, May 13 2019 so paving work can be completed. This work is weather-dependant and may be delayed due to weather conditions.

Shields BridgeRehabilitation of Shields Bridge (BR-017) on 1 st  Concession between Gerald Shortt Parkway and Sideroad 6/7 is set to begin on May 6, 2019.
Bird nesting prevention has been installed, and the Contractor will be onsite as of May 6 and will be erecting traffic control and detour signs for the full closure of the bridge. 
Closure of the bridge is expected to start on May 8, and the bridge will be closed until the work is completed, which is expected by August...

Sykes Bridge Sykes Street Bridge Rehabilitation is starting this week!   Expect to see activity near the bridge as the contractor arrives on site. There may be some minor travel delays this week as the contractor moves equipment onsite. The contractor may make temporary use of the New Library parking lot during this time.   Starting May 6, Sykes Street will be reduced to a single lane at the bridge while work is being performed. Update 2:30 p.m. - Sideroad 21 has now been reopened.
9:30 a.m. - Please be advised that due to a culvert repair, Sideroad 21 between Concession A and 28 th Avenue will be closed today (Wednesday, April 17 th 2019) until approximately 12:00 p.m.
