Harbour 'D' Dock Replacement Project Begins Today

The Municipality of Meaford has initiated the replacement of 'D' dock in the harbour today and is estimated to be completed in 3 to 5 days. As one of the main docks, 'D' dock has served the community for over 35 years, featuring the original wood decking and steel tube float system. Unfortunately, due to its design, the dock cannot be retrofitted or replaced in sections.

Municipality of Meaford Begins Sewer Main Rehabilitation

The Municipality of Meaford has initiated a Collection System Infiltration Main Relining Program, partnering with Capital Sewer Services Inc. to rehabilitate main line sewers using the Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) method. This innovative, no-dig process will allow for necessary sewer repairs without disturbing the surface of the streets.
Residents in impacted areas will receive 48-hour notice from Capital Sewer Services Inc.
