The Municipality of Meaford is undergoing rehabilitation work on Bridge 041 over the East Minniehill Creek located on the 7th Line between 10 Sideroad and 13 Sideroad with work scheduled to be completed in September 2022.

Work is scheduled to begin on May 16, 2022 and estimated to be completed in October 2022 for the reconstruction of Cook Street.
The project includes the reconstruction of Cook Street including the replacement of water main, sanitary sewer, storm water sewer, and reconstruction of sidewalks between Collingwood Street and Lombard Street. Starting March 1, 2022 load restrictions are in place for all Municipality of Meaford roads. The load restriction requires a reduced load of 5 tonnes per axle. This restriction will be in place until Sunday, May 1, 2022.

In the early morning hours of February 1, 2022, the Municipality of Meaford will be removing snow from the downtown core to keep sidewalks, boulevards, and on-street parking clear. Work is scheduled to begin at 4 a.m., and finishing around 7:30 a.m. The work is weather dependent, should conditions change overnight where the roads require plowing across the municipality, this work will be delayed.
