The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at Meaford Hall, located at 12 Nelson Street W., Meaford from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The presentation of the Community Builder Award will be held at 5:00 p.m., followed by passed hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Spring Load Restrictions Begin

Effective Friday, March 1, 2024, all Municipality of Meaford roads are placed under a reduced load (5 tonnes per axel) restriction and will remain in place until Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

Load restriction periods are weather-dependent. They may be extended as late as May 31, 2024, due to changing weather patterns. Notice updates will be issued on our website and social media pages to define restriction periods based on seasonal weather conditions.
