Staff members from the Municipality of Meaford are pleased to introduce a new video project on Youtube this spring called ‘The Spotlight Series on Municipal Services’. The project will comprise of a broad range of input from staff members and will include an in-depth look at projects, services and programming happening here in Meaford as a way of keeping residents more informed.

The upcoming Municipal Election to elect a Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillors and School Board Trustees will take place in October 2022.
Nominations will open on Monday, May 2, 2022 and close on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

Mayor Barb Clumpus has officially declared that the COVID-19 state of emergency for the Municipality of Meaford over as of 1 p.m., today. Mayor Clumpus made this announcement during Council today following a recommendation by the Emergency Management Control Group on March 9, 2022.

Starting March 1, 2022 load restrictions are in place for all Municipality of Meaford roads. The load restriction requires a reduced load of 5 tonnes per axle. This restriction will be in place until Sunday, May 1, 2022.
