Notice of Temporary Accessible Service Disruption for Meaford's 150th Parade

In preparation for Meaford’s 150th History and Heritage parade on Saturday, June 15, 2024 there will be barricades set up along St. Vincent Street to the Harbour at 12:00 p.m. to control vehicular traffic along the parade route (St. Vincent Street), and surrounding streets.
The barricades will be removed when the parade is over at approximately 2:00 p.m.
We would appreciate your kind cooperation in not parking your vehicle on St. Vincent Street between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The Municipality of Meaford is working with FlashVote to engage the community and gather valuable input from residents to inform municipal decisions. Residents are encouraged to sign up now to ensure they registered to participate in the first survey.

In recognition of national Pride Month the Municipality of Meaford will be flying the pride flag in Market Square and lighting our water tower with the colours of the rainbow starting Saturday, June 1 to Saturday June 8, 2024.

The Municipality’s accessibility flag will fly today Monday, May 27 to Friday, May 31, 2024, at the downtown Market Square flag poles in recognition of National AccessAbility Week in the Municipality of Meaford. Each night for the remainder of the week, the water tower will be lit up in blue and yellow in recognition of accessibility as well.

Granular Road Resurfacing Beginning in June

Granular Road resurfacing will be completed throughout the month of June with work taking place Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
With a budgeted amount of $439,000.00 an in partnership with Walker Aggregates Inc. and Da-Lee Contracting, 20,000 tons of fresh gravel will be applied to 55.78 kilometers of roads throughout Meaford’s rural areas, along with dust suppressant to help keep dust down.
