The Municipality of Meaford would like to announce the retirement of the Municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Rob Armstrong. Rob has worked for the Municipality since 2009 in a variety of roles, including as CAO since 2018.

Throughout his tenure at the Municipality of Meaford, Rob has been instrumental in guiding the organization to new heights, spearheading numerous successful initiatives, and fostering a culture of community and collaboration.

Midas Mart Demolition Rescheduled

Please be advised that the demolition work for the Midas Mart building located in the northwest corner of the Market Square parking lot has been rescheduled. Demolition will begin the week of July 17, 2023, to July 21, 2023. The building will be removed, and the space will be returned to a level grade and planted with grass.
