  Traditional Celtic Music
  - 10 Week Course
Beginning Thursday, September 21 at 6:30 pm at the Meaford Artisan Hub.
The Artisan Hub is located just a few steps from the Library at 55 Trowbridge St.  Discover the splendour of traditional Celtic music with William Henry in a 10-week course.  This type of music works well with violins, fiddles or other melody instruments.
Some familiarity with basic scales is recommended.

Space is limited - please register in advance.

Library Reading Room.
Travel the world without leaving Meaford.  Learn about new places, browse through photos, receive travel advice, and hear personal stories from each location.

   Photography Club
The next meeting is Tuesday, November 21 at 6:30 pm.

A club to review your photos, learn more about your digital camera, discuss techniques and enjoy the occasional field trip.

storm   Storm Chaser
Wednesday, November 22 at 2pm
Location:  The Barn Co-Operative Network, 121 Old Highway 26, Meaford.  
Professional photographer and storm chaser David Chapman will share his knowledge and experiences following severe weather systems.  He will also display some of his beautiful photography of the storms and a short video on the lifecycle of a tornado.

Howard Florist and Greenhouse will demonstrate how to create a festive arrangement to display in your home for the holidays.
Fresh flowers and other materials will be provided.

   Arm Knit an Infinity Scarf
Wednesday, December 6 at 2 pm
Cost:  $2 per person
Location:  Library Board Room
Create a beautiful handmade gift or keep it for yourself!
Ashley Trusler will instruct how to do this fun and simple knitting technique.
All materials will be provided.

    We have recently had some instance of garbage bag tags being ripped in half, and both halves being placed on two separate garbage bags. Garbage will only be collected if a complete bag tag is present on all waste bags, and by-law enforcement will be contacted if necessary.
