Commissions

The Legislative Services department provides Commissioning of Oaths services for a fee of $20.00.​

Our office will commission documents such as Declaration of Vehicle Transfers and General Affidavits.

In order to have a document commissioned all parties required to sign the document must be present and must provide valid photo identification. 

While not required, an appointment is strongly recommended.  Please email clerk@meaford.ca or call 519-538-1060 ext. 1101 to set up a time. 

Please be advised that the Commissioner is not responsible for the content of the affidavit.  It is the responsibility of the person whose signature is being commissioned.  You must understand not only the details to which you will attest and their correctness.

Certified Copies

Certified copies of documents can be made for a fee of $20.00.

Travel and other Pension Documents

The witnessing of travel documents for minors and pension forms is $10.00.
