Proposal:  The property owners are requesting a temporary use zoning by-law amendment on the subject lands at 135 William Street. The lands are zoned Urban Institutional (UI), which permits only legally existing uses as of September 21, 2009. The existing building on the property was formerly a long-term care facility.

The intent of the re-zoning is to allow temporary housing for employees of a local business. If approved, the temporary use zoning by-law amendment will add an additional new use of employee housing and would be in effect for a period of three years.

Status: Zoning under review
