Project Overview

The Municipality of Meaford is replacing the bridge on 7th Line (Structure BR-069) to ensure the road remains safe and reliable. This work involves removing the old concrete bridge and installing a new concrete structure in its place.

  • Removing the existing concrete bridge 

  • Installing a new concrete structure 

  • Work is carried out by Cox Construction Limited 

Timeline

  • Anticipated project start: September 8, 2025
  • Anticipated ongoing end: October 31, 2025 

Timelines may be subject to weather and site conditions. 

Budget

  • ShapeTotal Budget: $753,095 

Impact on Residents 

Traffic Disruptions:  

  • 7th Line is closed at the bridge for the duration of construction. 
  • Please use alternate routes for through traffic. 
  • Residents can still access their properties, but do not park on the roadway. 

Noise and Dust:Shape Some noise and dusty conditions are expected during construction.
