Repair of boulevard grassed areas to be completed beginning the week of June 23, 2025.
Project Overview
The Municipality of Meaford has reconstructed Lakeshore Road South from Ford Avenue to Centerville Road and all of Algonquin Drive. The construction included replacement of watermain and water services on Lakeshore Road South and a portion of Algonquin Drive from Lakeshore Road South to the “T” intersection. The work will also included asphalt resurfacing of all of the roadways and some improvements to storm water systems.
Project Scope
The reconstruction project included:
- Full road resurfacing and repair
- Replacement of watermain and water service connections
- Maintenance and improvements to storm water system
Project Budget
The project has been approved with a total budget of $3,375,166.82. This funding covers planning, construction, infrastructure upgrades, and contingency reserves.
