Project Overview 

Shape, PictureThe Peter Cameron Park Upgrades project involves a comprehensive redesign of the park space located along Market Lane. The intention is to enhance the recreational infrastructure and accessibility of the park while improving the overall layout for community use.

Project Scope 

Removal of outdated or unsafe structures: existing swings, climbing structures, benches, sports pad, and miscellaneous items like a sawhorse and pipe. 

  • Removal of outdated or unsafe structures: Non-compliant play equipment, existing sports pad, and miscellaneous site amenities. 
  • Installation of new amenities, including: 
  • A new sports pad, with new basketball nets 
  • New engineered wood fibre matting  
  • New swing set, including an accessible swing 
  • Concrete pad picnic table area 
  • A defined pathway through the park 
  • New 4-foot perimeter fencing and landscaping

  • Noise and Dust:Shape, PictureResidents may experience temporary noise and dust during the removal and installation of new site features.
