The Municipality of Meaford is undertaking significant road rehabilitation work in 2025 to enhance local infrastructure, improve road safety, and extend the lifespan of its transportation network.
What to Expect During Construction
The Municipality of Meaford wants to make sure everyone knows what to expect during road work. Here is how construction may affect you:
-
Road closures: Roads will be closed during the day while culverts are replaced (from August 25 to 29). There may also be single-lane closures during other parts of the project.
-
Traffic delays: Please expect slower travel times and plan ahead.
-
Noise and dust: Construction will create noise and dust. Crews will try to reduce dust as much as possible.
-
Vibrations: Some equipment may cause small ground vibrations. If you have fragile items in your home, please move or protect them.
