The Meaford and St. Vincent Community Center and Arena includes a regulation sized ice rink, banquet hall, meeting room, kitchen, bar, and concession stand. It is a great place to host a special occasion, enjoy public skating and a hockey game. This is a fully licensed facility.

Arena

The Meaford Arena is a regulation size 185' x 90' ice rink. It plays host to the Greater Metro Toronto Hockey League Knights of Meaford Hockey franchise, the Georgian Shores Lightning Minor Hockey League, and the Meaford Figure Skating Club.

Ice Rental Rates

  • Ice Rental, Prime - $150.00/hour
  • Ice Rental, Non-Prime - $100.00/hour
  • Arena Floor (non-ice) - $60.00/hour, or $775/day

Public Skating

Public Skating is FREE and is a great activity for kids of all ages. Come out and enjoy a skate in our wonderful facility. Plenty of seating space to get your skates on, spectator area, skating assists are available for use and, of course, great tunes to skate to. 

 

Public Skating Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

 

Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

 

Public Skating Rules: 

  • Parent / Guardian (14 years or older) supervision is required for children under the age of 12.
  • Sticks permitted for children 10 and under (no pucks).
  • CSA approved hockey helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters and mandatory for children 5 and under. 

 

Public Skating begins October 16th , 2024 and will run to the last week of March, 2025.

Stick and Puck

Stick and Puck begins October 17th, 2024 and runs to the last week of March 2025. 
Cost: $5

  • Stick and Puck is for players 18+.
  • Helmets and gloves are required.

Auditorium and Meeting Room

The Meaford Community Center Auditorium and meeting room is a great place to host your special occasion. The Hall includes a bar, kitchen, raised stage, and sound system. It is available for intimate functions, celebrations, dances, ceremonies, corporate functions, meetings, seminars, workshops, gatherings, parties and wedding receptions.
