Land and Sea

An old boat throttleLearn about Meaford’s Hay Day as a booming industrial town with a busy Harbour.  The Meaford Train station was a terminus on the Canadian National Railway’s Allendale line which also served Toronto and Hamilton, Midland, North Bay and points in between.   In the first decades of the 20th century, the Town of Meaford boasted 11 Hotels and Inns and a thriving entertainment scene including its own Opera House.
