Join Tamara from Free Spirit Tours (certified Forest Therapy guide) in the woodlands in Memorial Park to enhance your health, wellness and happiness. Together with the forest she will offer a variation of invitations adapted to the natural surroundings. These activities make room for sensory experiences, presence, stillness, listening (to self & others) and more. Dependent on weather, snow shoes will be provided for the walk. Participants should dress accordingly and plan for the walk to last for 2 hours.

Intro to Mountain Biking

RAD Adventures

Kids and bikes: it's magic! Rad Adventures teaches skills that last a lifetime.

For our Intro to Mountain Biking Program for ages 4 - 6: Participants must be off training wheels and able to ride a two-wheeler on their own.

The main focus is building confidence on a bike — and having a ton of fun!

We teach: proper riding techniques, trail etiquette, basic mechanic skills — from how to put a chain back on to how to fix a flat tire, use tools and adjust components — use of equipment, road and trail safety, nature and forest values, and that mountain biking is a sport that will keep them healthy, happy and strong their entire lives. Our focus is on the joy and thrill of riding, in a fun, supportive and safe environment.

All of our programs and camps combine a mix of activities which support overall health, wellness and fitness, including forest lessons, fort building, interpretive conversations, and field games among others.
