Forest Therapy Walks |
Instructor: Free Spirit Tours, Tamara Fournier Thanks to special funding from RBC Future Launch Grant, youth in our community received funding to offer Forest Therapy Walks to our community for free!
Join Tamara from Free Spirit Tours (certified Forest Therapy guide) in the woodlands in Memorial Park to enhance your health, wellness and happiness. Together with the forest she will offer a variation of invitations adapted to the natural surroundings. These activities make room for sensory experiences, presence, stillness, listening (to self & others) and more. Dependent on weather, snow shoes will be provided for the walk. Participants should dress accordingly and plan for the walk to last for 2 hours. Meeting Point: TBD

VIRTUAL - Young Choreographers |
Instructor: Erin McAndrew This program is suitable for all levels and experience. Come discover the choreographer within and unleash your creative potential in this fun, safe and inclusive space. During the 6 week online Zoom program, participants will have an opportunity to engage their creative process by co-creating, and presenting a number of digital pieces to be shared on social media platforms. Floor Hockey |
Instructor: Shawna Wren Ice is out but hockey is still in! Join us for this great recreational floor hockey program. Kids will participate in shinny-style hockey, skills and drills. Helmet and gloves mandatory. |

Home Alone Course |
Instructor: Jeremy Grant Get your kids ready to stay home alone this summer! This course provides kids with all the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when they are home alone. Ages 10+ |
Babysitting Course |
Instructor: Jeremy Grant This course covers everything from managing difficult behaviour to professional conduct as a babysitter. This revised course now has a great emphasis on First Aid skills. Ages 11+ |

Community Programs
Creative Dance, Ballet, Tap & Aerial Skills |
Students in Dance Foundations and Aerial Arts receive a solid dance education, whether they are dancing on the floor or in the air. No previous experience is required! Tap and Ballet round out our offerings so that there's something for everyone. Leadership options for teens include our NEW student teacher education program! Sail Georgian Bay |
2020 Courses Cancelled due to COVID-19. Learn sailing and water safety from our Sail Canada certified instructors! Weekly courses run during July and August for youth ages 8-18. Interested in gaining working experience in community services? Arrnage your placement with Georgian By Youth Roots and join The Town of Blue Mountains, The Municipality of Meaford, Blue Mountaints Public Library, Meaford Public Library and Beaver Valley Outreach for experiences in library services, municipal recreation, social and community services.
