Notice to Residents: Hyrdrant Painting
The Municipality of Meaford is currently painting hydrants in order to comply with the National Fire Protection Association code 291. The body of all public fire hydrants should be chrome yellow in order to make them highly visible for firefighters in an emergency when seconds count. The hydrants were first painted white as a primer and are now in the process of being painted yellow.
