Celebrating Women Who Lead, Innovate, and Inspire

She Moves Meaford is a community storytelling campaign honouring the women whose leadership, creativity, and resilience help our municipality thrive. In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, the Municipality of Meaford is highlighting women-led businesses, volunteers, community builders, and municipal staff who make a meaningful impact every day.

This campaign supports Council’s priorities to strengthen our community, grow our local economy, and advance equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Women across Meaford shape our community in countless ways, through entrepreneurship, caregiving, service, creativity, advocacy, and leadership. She Moves Meaford recognizes and celebrates these contributions through community nominations and voluntary participation.

Thank you to everyone who nominated a woman who inspires, leads, and strengthens our community. We received an incredible response from residents, businesses, organizations, and peers.
