The Municipality of Meaford is in the process of considering and adopting a short-term accommodations licensing by-law. This by-law will dictate the terms and conditions that short-term accommodations (such as AirBnB’s, cottage rentals, VRBO’s, etc.) must follow to operate within the Municipality. 

Public consultations on the short-term accommodations licensing by-law concluded on November 5th. Thank you to all who participated.


Staff will take the feedback received during the consultation period and incorporate it in a coming report that will outline options for a short-term accommodation licensing by-law for Council to consider.
