Celebrate Canada Day in Meaford

Join the Municipality of Meaford on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Meaford Rotary Harbour Pavilion for a full day of Canada Day celebrations from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..

This annual event brings the community together to celebrate Canadian pride, culture, and connection. Attendees can enjoy a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages, including live music, food, and a vendor marketfor local businesses and community groups.

Visitors are encouraged to come out to explore the harbourand take part in the celebrations. Please plan ahead as there are planned road closures to keep the community safe. Bayfield Street will be closed from Collingwood Street East to Bridge Street from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the area is expected to be busy with pedestrians.

Location: Meaford Rotary Harbour Pavilion and surrounding area (1 Don Bumstead Way, Meaford)

  • Giant inflatables, obstacle course, and family-friendly games
  • “Smooch-a-Pooch” booth with the Beautiful Joe Heritage Society
  • Rotary BBQ and Kinsmen Beer Garden
  • Fire Services and Army Training Centre demonstrations
  • Wellness programming including yoga and Tai Chi by the water
