The Municipality of Meaford would like to hear from you as we prepare the 2023 Municipal Budget. There are several opportunities for input throughout the process.

  1. Submit your budget questions. We will post budget questions and answers to our website weekly. You can ask your questions by emailing budgets@meaford.ca, calling 519-538-1060 extension 1746 or by dropping by the Administration Office located at 21 Trowbridge Street West, during regular hours of operation.
  2. Participate in our budget public meetings. Meetings are open to the public and you can attend in person or watch on our YouTube channel at www.meaford.ca/YouTube. To register to speak in person or virtually at a meeting, email deputyclerk@meaford.ca or call 519-538-1060 extension 1100.
  • Monday, January 30, 2023, at 1 p.m. - Tabling of the 2023 Draft Budgets
  • Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. - Public Meeting
  • Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Budget Day 1 - Operating Budgets
  • Friday, February 24, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Budget Day 2 - Capital Budgets
  • Monday, March 20, 2023, at 5 p.m - Statutory Public Meeting

 3. Provide your feedback to Council by emailing all members of Council directly using council@meaford.ca.
