The Municipality of Meaford is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Mahon to the position of Director of Human Resources and Community Services. Sarah, who previously served as the Human Resources Manager, assumed her new role effective 24 June 2024.
Throughout her time with the Municipality, Sarah Mahon has demonstrated unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and a profound impact on fostering a positive workplace culture and community engagement initiatives. Her contributions have been instrumental in aligning organizational goals with community needs, ensuring a cohesive approach to service delivery.
In her new capacity, Sarah Mahon will oversee a diverse portfolio encompassing Fire Services, Protective Services, Meaford Hall, Meaford Museum, Customer Service, and Legislative Services. This role underscores her commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Meaford residents by managing essential community services and promoting collaboration across departments.
