The Municipality of Meaford invites community members to attend a special Tree Planting Ceremony commemorating the community's historic 150th anniversary. A ceremonial tree and commemorative plaque have been installed at the Meaford Harbour, marking this significant milestone in the municipality's history.

Location: Meaford Harbour, in front of the Harbour House (on the berm)

The ceremony will feature remarks from Mayor Ross Kentner and Deputy Mayor Shirley Keaveney, who will acknowledge the outstanding contributions of the 150th Anniversary Planning Committee and the numerous volunteers who helped make this milestone year remarkable for the community.

This commemorative tree will serve as a living legacy of Meaford's sesquicentennial celebration, standing as a testament to the community's growth and vitality over the past 150 years.
