Overview 

The following service will be temporarily impacted: On-street parking will be blocked off on the west side of Sykes Street during barrier removal. 

Start date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. 

Approximate end date: Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:30 a.m.  

Reason for disruption: Seasonal removal of patio barriers to prepare for fall/winter operations and ensure safe traffic and snow-clearing conditions. 

Parking and access: Please remove all vehicles from the parking spaces on the west side of Sykes Street on Tuesday, October 14, as parking will be blocked off at 9:00 p.m.  Municipal staff will be on site, and the area will be clearly marked with pylons. 

Alternative parking can be found in nearby downtown municipal lots and on adjacent side streets. Learn more at meaford.ca/parking.
