On June 27, Canadian Multiculturalism Day honours the many cultural communities that help build a strong and vibrant Canadian society. The date was designated in 2002 by the Government of Canada as the annual opportunity for all Canadians to:

  • Celebrate the diversity of our country, our society and our communities
  • Affirm our commitment to democracy, equality and mutual respect
  • Appreciate the contributions made by the ethnocultural groups that make up Canadian society

This is an opportunity to celebrate the cultural diversity that enriches us collectively and reaffirm your commitment to equity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
