The Clerk has declared the official election results for the 2022 election in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act.

2022 Municipal and School Board Election Procedures The Municipal Elections Act, 1996, as amended, requires the Clerk to have regard for the needs of electors and candidates with disabilities and to ensure that all voting places are accessible to all electors. 2022 Municipal and School Board Accessible Election Plan A Candidate Open House took place on Tuesday, September 13th & Wednesday, September 14th at various Municipal facilities. Grey County Compliance Audit Committee |
At their regular meeting on September 26, 2022, Council established the Grey County Compliance Audit Committee (GCCAC) according to this Terms of Reference. Five members have been appointed to the Committee. By-law 2022-61 - To Appoint Members to the Grey County Compliance Audit Committee If a qualified elector believes on reasonable grounds that a candidate has contravened the Municipal Elections Act relating to election campaign finances, they can make an application for a compliance audit, which will then be considered by the Compliance Audit Committee. |
