This position is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the overall Human Resources and Health & Safety functions at the Municipality. Develops and implements new and revised corporate Human Resources and Health & Safety policies, procedures and associated training. Provides guidance and recommendations to the CAO, Directors and Managers regarding HR and Health & Safety policies, procedures and employee relations.

Special Project Assistant

Department: Community Services
Status: Temporary Full-time (Contract)
Hours per Week: 35
Salary Range: $18.62 to $22.63 hourly

Under the direction of the Clerk / Director of Community Services, provides administration support and assistance with projects. Assist with mapping the Municipality’s customer facing processes, compiling an inventory of municipal road allowances and existing property-related agreements, and assisting in the development and documentation related to future property agreements.

Planner

Department: Development Services

Salary Range: $55,659.78 to $67,654.81

This position assists in the review, research, preparation, and implementation of planning, environmental and related policy development including special planning research projects, the preparation of evaluation and commentary on development submissions and reports, and the preparation of materials for public committees and council meetings and the LPAT; coordinate pre-consultation meetings and respond to staff and public inquiries; process routine planning applications; and perform data reporting, collection, maintenance, and technical analysis. This position also functions as Secretary-Treasurer for the Committee of Adjustment, with administrative support from the Development Services Assistant.
