The Municipality issues lottery licenses for:
- Bingo events, with prize boards of up to $5,500
- Break Open Tickets for local organizations
- Raffle lotteries for total prizes of $50,000 and under
- Bazaar lotteries which include: wheels of fortune with a maximum bet of $2.00, raffles not exceeding $500, and bingo events up to $500.

To get a lottery license, your organization must be active in the Municipality of Meaford, and the proceeds invested in our community. It must also be in operation for at least 1 year, and have a Canadian dollar trust account for lottery proceeds. See the Quick Guide for Charitable Gaming Licences for more detailed information. |

If you get a lottery license through the Municipality, you must submit a Lottery Report within 30 days of the expiry of the license. For more info on lottery licensing in Ontario, please visit www.agco.on.ca/. |
