The wastewater collection system relining project will will enhance the efficiency and extend the life of our wastewater system by rehabilitating approximately 230 metres of existing wastewater main using non-intrusive, specialized equipment to perform underground work.

This project will reduce the cost of the expansion and annual operating costs of the expanded facility by reducing the need for treatment.

A formal notice will be provided to residents on impacted streets. While work is being completed, impacted sewers will be temporarily out of service for approximately 8 hours. During this time, affected residents are asked to minimize water usage by refraining from taking showers or baths, running dishwashers or laundry machines, and flushing toilets. These measures will reduce the possibility of sewage flows backing up into your home or business.

This project will be completed over the course of a three-year contract with different areas being impacted in 2023, 2024, and 2025. 
Phase 1: Completed August 2023

Phase 2: Beginning September 16, 2024.

Phase 3: To be completed in 2025. Stay tuned for projected lining dates and locations.
