About the Event:

“Building Business, Growing Community” to Strengthen the Local Economy
The Municipality of Meaford has launched Building Business, Growing Community, a Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) project to help local businesses stay, grow, and succeed in the community. Supported by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Rural Affairs, the project will gather input from both businesses and residents — to understand barriers to growth, identify opportunities to expand, and determine the supports the community needs — informing the Municipality’s economic development decisions and priorities in the years ahead.

Voting Information Sessions

The Municipality of Meaford has chosen to use internet and telephone voting for the Municipal and School Board Election in October 2026. To help residents prepare, the Municipality will hold information sessions where people can learn how the voting process works and ask any questions they may have.
