Participants will learn foundational hand-sewing skills in this fun beginner-friendly water-themed workshop where they will create imaginative fish; ‘sock salmon’ and octopus; ‘socktopus’. Guided through the basics of threading a needle, tying knots, and making simple stitches, participants will transform everyday materials into unique handmade creations. This hands-on activity encourages creativity, exploration, and self-expression while providing a relaxed and welcoming space for youth to connect. This 90-minute session combines creative learning with educational components designed to support youth development, wellbeing, and social connection. Through expert-led instruction, hands-on making, and group interaction, participants will gain practical sewing skills while building confidence, strengthening communication, and engaging in meaningful creative play.
