Come Take a Picture on a Big Red Chair!

Meaford, Ontario – June 18, 2015 – Thanks to the hard work of GBSS students, five BIG red muskoka chairs will be popping up around the Municipality of Meaford at some of our most scenic locations.

Join Mayor Barb Clumpus on June 24th at 2pm at Irish Mountain Lookout for a ribbon cutting ceremony. See the brand new chair and landscaping (including a bus turnaround), along with one of the best views around where picturesque Georgian Bay meets the rolling countryside. Irish Mountain lookout can be found just off of Grey Road 112, north of highway 26 between Meaford and Owen Sound.

The chairs were built by GBSS students over the last school year. Along with Irish mountain lookout, the other four chairs will be placed at Leith Beach Park, Fred Raper Park, Station Hill Park, and Memorial Park. Take some time to explore all Meaford has to offer, and take a picture with your friends and family in each of the Meaford Big Red Chairs.
