OPP - Police/Criminal Record Checks

(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – The Meaford satellite office of the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – Chatsworth Detachment will not be open to the public on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 for those individuals seeking a Police / Criminal Record Check.  Instead, the office will be open on Thursday, November 5th between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for this purpose.

This change only effects November 4th and normal Wednesday service will resume on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015.  (The office is closed on Remembrance Day, November 11th).

Criminal Record Checks will continue to be accepted at the Chatsworth OPP Detachment located on Hwy. 6 & 10, in the Township of Chatsworth - Monday through Friday - during normal business hours – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Anyone requiring a Criminal Record Check must bring with them:

  • 2 forms of identification, one of which must be a photo I.D. from the following list:
    • Driver’s Licence, Birth Certificate, Passport, Student Card
  • $25 cash  (required if for employment purposes)
  • A letter from the organization (required if for volunteer purposes)
