Make Sure You’re Ready to Vote by Checking or Updating Your Voter Information

Responsibility for creating the voters’ list for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election has moved from Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) to Elections Ontario. During this change, some people who were previously registered may have been accidentally removed from the voters’ list.

Whether you’re new to the Municipality or have lived here your entire life, it is important to check your voter information.

Eligible voters can visit RegisterToVoteON.ca or call 1-866-242-3025 to:

  • Confirm they are on the voters’ list.
  • Update their name or address.
  • Register to vote if they are not already on the list.
  • Verify their information.

Keeping your voter information current helps make the voting process faster and easier. It also helps ensure you receive the correct voting information before the voting period.

Checking or updating your information only takes a few minutes. Visit RegisterToVoteON.ca or call 1-866-242-3025 to get started. The last day to register online or by phone is August 12. After August 12, you will need to visit the Municipal Administration Office or a Voting Help Centre to make changes.
