Notice of Nelson Street West Temporary Sidewalk Closure 

The north sidewalk on Nelson Street West will be temporarily closed between 40 Nelson Street West and 24 Nelson Street West. Pedestrians are asked to use the sidewalk on the south side of Nelson Street West and follow posted signs in the area. 

Overview  

The following service may be temporarily impacted: 

Start date: September 8, 2026 

Approximate end date: October 2, 2026 

Reason for disruption: Construction of a new parking lot at 28 Nelson Street West, including a new entrance to the parking lot. 

Alternative services: Please use the south sidewalk on Nelson Street West and cross the street at intersections, either Sykes Street North or Cook Street. 

Please follow posted signage and use caution when travelling through the area. We appreciate your patience.
