- Location: 700m of 8th Concession Road South between Sideroad 6 and Sunny Valley Road
- Anticipated Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Estimated Completion: November 2, 2026
- Scope: Pulverizing the roadway, grading and placement of granular, asphalt paving, and adjustment of impacted entrances.
- Contractor: E.C. King Contracting
Project Impacts
- Road Access: Expect delays and single-lane closures during active construction. Residents will continue to have access to their properties.
- Waste Collection: If construction temporarily blocks your regular pickup point, the Contractor will help to move your garbage and recycling to a collection area. Please label all containers with your house number so they can be returned to the correct owner.
- Noise: Residents and property owners should expect some noise during construction times.
- Dust: Residents and property owners should expect dust during some construction activities; however, efforts will be made to reduce dust as much as possible.
- Vibration: The possibility of vibrations due to compaction equipment during construction is not anticipated to be significant, but residents should protect valuables that may be susceptible to damage.
- How can you help: Residents can help support the successful completion of the project by obeying all posted signage, respecting lane closures, following designated detour routes, and exercising caution when travelling near the construction area.
