Notice of Temporary Parking Restrictions and Road Closure on Bayfield Street

The Municipality of Meaford is advising residents of temporary parking restrictions and a road closure along Bayfield Street from Parker Street East to Collingwood Street East during the Splash Into Summer event on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Overview

The following services may be temporarily impacted: Parking and road access along Bayfield Street from Parker Street East to Collingwood Street East. Local traffic will be permitted where possible.

Start date for parking restrictions:Friday, June 19, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Start date for road closure: Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

Approximate end date:Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Reason for disruption:Temporary parking restrictions and road closure in support of the Splash Into Summer event, celebrating the Grand Opening of the splash pad and Longest Day of Play activities at McCarroll Park.

Please follow posted detour routes and signage and drive with caution in the area. To view other parking locations,visit meaford.ca/parking.
